Dr Chiara Sewnarain is a Specialist Paediatrician with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. She obtained her medical degree from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University before completing her specialist training in Paediatrics through the University of the Witwatersrand, qualifying as a Paediatrician in 2025.

Dr. Chiara Sewnarain has been dedicated to caring for children and supporting families through both routine and complex healthcare challenges. Her areas of interest include newborn care, child development, preventative medicine, growth and nutrition, respiratory illnesses, and empowering parents with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their children’s health.

Shouneez is the friendly face who will welcome you to Little Miracles Paediatric Practice. With over two years of experience in the medical field, she is passionate about creating a warm, organised, and supportive experience for every family who walks through our doors.

As a proud mom of two, Shouneez understands the joys and challenges of parenthood and has a natural ability to connect with both parents and children. Her caring personality, patience, and genuine love for people help make every visit feel comfortable and reassuring.

She shares the vision of Little Miracles Paediatric Practice—to provide compassionate, family-centred care with excellence at its heart. Outside of work, Shouneez enjoys reading, meeting new people, and bringing her outgoing, positive energy to everything she does.
